Privacy policy

Scope

This policy covers the igaitech.in website. It does not cover virtual human deployments operated for our customers — in those deployments the customer is the data controller and their own privacy notice applies.

What we collect

We collect only what you send us. If you submit the contact form, we receive the name, work email, organisation, role, enquiry type and message you provide.

• Contact form submissions, retained only as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the enquiry.
• A theme preference (dark or light), stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and is not a cookie.
• Standard server request logs kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability purposes.
• Aggregate usage measurement through Google Analytics, described in full below.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how this website is used in aggregate — which pages are read, how visitors arrive, and where journeys break down. We use it to improve the site, not to profile you.

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies on your device (named _ga and _ga_*) containing a randomly generated identifier. It also processes your approximate location, derived from a truncated IP address, along with your browser, device type and referring source. Google acts as our data processor for this. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in understanding and improving our own website.

We have deliberately switched off the parts of Google Analytics that extend beyond this site: Google Signals is disabled, and advertising personalisation signals are disabled. Nothing collected here is used to build an advertising profile of you or to follow you across other websites.

You can opt out at any time by installing Google's official browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser. The site works identically either way.

What we do not do

• We do not serve advertising or allow third parties to advertise to you here.
• We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we have disabled the advertising features of our analytics.
• We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
• We do not use your enquiry to train models.

Why we process it

We process contact form data to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to progress a commercial discussion you initiated. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.

Who we share it with

Enquiries may be handled through our hosting provider and, where configured, a customer relationship system used to track commercial conversations. Aggregate website usage data is processed by Google as our analytics provider. These providers act on our instructions and are bound by contract. We do not share your data with anyone else unless legally compelled.

International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the region in which it was collected, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. If your organisation requires data residency guarantees for a deployment, we can configure region-pinned or fully on-premise operation.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email ikram@igaitech.in. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

Security

The site is served over TLS with strict transport security, and applies content-type, framing and referrer protections. Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it to respond to you.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change affects data we already hold, contact you directly.
